Lecture: The Gymnastikhuset in motion from 1898 to 2026

An active lecture about the movement in the Gymnastikhuset, and how the movement has developed over time and society Søren Ekman takes you on a journey that starts at Vallekilde High School in 1884. During the lecture, he talks about NH Rasmussen's encounter with Swedish gymnastics, the construction of the Gymnastikhuset and Helle Gotved's innovation with today's updated Gotved gymnastics. The lecture will be spiced with images, movement and music, and you should be prepared to be moderately active, as you will be given tests on total movement, balance training, foot exercises and pelvic floor exercises.
