Age group: From 12 years. Duration: 75 min without intermission Political Acts is a performance that focuses on the action and non-action of the sick body. Through text, choreography and scenographic lighting, a performer examines the non-producing body - the body that is often cut off from public political manifestations due to mental or physical illness. The theatre space becomes a site-specific transformation space that opens up both an intimate private space between spectator and performer and a public space for struggle and negotiation. By exploring the relationship between the body's vulnerability on stage, in the street and at home, the performer tests how the sick body can become a protesting body.
