Taste the wild pantry of the Wadden Sea. Take your basket under your arm and follow us out into the green. Rømø's nature is full of surprises, and on this tour we invite you to taste the island's wild produce. On our gathering trip, we look, smell and taste everything that the season has to offer right now - from the salty herbs of the salt marshes, to the wild berries of the heath and to the mushrooms of the forest floor. The focus is not on filling the basket to the brim with raw materials, but on giving you an educational experience and inspiration on how you can find and use nature's pantry at home. We will provide specific tips on how the plants can be used in your own cooking, how to best store them and what they have previously been used for in, for example, folk medicine. We teach you to collect in a sustainable way so that together we take care of nature.
