Invitation to a discussion room for socially interested women. Making a difference. What makes people engage in society and the community?. Many people talk about community, commitment and active participation in society But what is it that actually makes people get involved, take responsibility and make a difference? We focus on this when we invite you to the first Conversation Room for socially interested women. The evening will begin with a presentation from two exciting women who, based on their own experiences and reflections, will share perspectives on engagement, community and participation in society. We then continue in smaller conversation groups, where we explore questions together such as:What motivates people to get involved? What importance do communities have for our desire to contribute? How do we find the courage to take responsibility? What barriers can stand in the way of active participation? How do we strengthen communities and democratic engagement in our local communities?
