It's not neurodivergents who are wrong. It's the modern framework that is wrong. The framework must be adapted and support neurodivergents in everything from schools to workplaces and cultural life. The lecture with Christian Groes is based on the latest research in neurodiversity, interviews with neurodivergent people and experiences from life with a son with autism and ADHD. He provides examples from his fieldwork with the Sateré-Mawé people in the Amazon jungle. Why are people with ADHD and autism crucial to the survival and cohesion of society, and how are they naturally supported by the entire tribe because of their special value? There will be a break during the lecture, during which you are welcome to eat.
