What did music sound like during the Viking Age? Numerous instrument finds show that the Vikings enjoyed music, and Norse sources mention both singing and playing instruments. Maria Ojantakanen from the Viking Village in Albertslund/Harpiks Musikformidling has specialized in the soundscape of the Viking Age and has been working with reconstructed instruments for nearly 30 years.
