Come and help Denmark's only and cutest dormouse get better conditions in nature. Every Saturday and Sunday in September from 10 am to 12 pm you can help build hazel boxes at Naturama. Give nature a helping hand and help build a hazel box that Naturama can hang in nature. The hazel mouse is a rare and protected species, and nest boxes help give researchers a better opportunity to monitor and protect the population. When you build a box, you contribute to an important nature conservation project and help create better conditions for the dormouse - and for the diverse nature of which it is a part. The activity is for both children and adults, and along the way you can hear more about the life of the dormouse and why this small rodent is so important to Danish nature. Naturama's research Every year, Naturama's researcher Professor Dormouse goes out into nature areas and observes how many Dormouse live there and how they are doing. Dormouse sleeps during the day, and they sleep really heavily.
