An afternoon with reading consultants for young and adult dyslexics There are many digital tools available to help young people and adults who struggle with reading and/or writing due to dyslexia or other challenges. An app can read a piece of text aloud to you if you take a picture of what you want to hear - and you can speak to your smartphone and have it write what you say in a text message or email. Reading consultants from the Center for Special Education in Slagelse will show you this afternoon how the different apps work and can help make life easier if you are dyslexic. The consultants can also answer your questions about assistive technology and education for young people and adults with dyslexia, and if you need to apply for relevant assistive technology, they can also advise you on this. You are welcome to come to the open house from 3:30 p.m. There are apps for both i Phone and Android, but bring your phone so we can download the different apps together and you can learn how to use them.
