The Joy of Tango Marijke de Vries is a visual artist and has been organising events and activities in the field of Argentine tango for 30 years, often in a mix with other disciplines: performances, lectures, visual art exhibitions, and other dance forms. In the past, she organised the now-famous international Tangomagia festival in Amsterdam. As a visual artist, she became known for, among other things, winning a silver Prix de Rome and for exhibitions at home and abroad. The trial lesson is intended to introduce you to Argentine tango in a fun and accessible way.
