Pumpkins in All Their Forms—A Guided Tour of the Field

What to know

Don't forget your rubber boots—we're going out to the field to hear Ida talk about growing pumpkins. Put on your rubber boots and join us in the pumpkin field at Kellebygaard, just outside Søndersø. The fields are full of pumpkins of every variety, and Ida will talk about the process—from selecting the seeds to when the pumpkin is ready to be picked. Once Ida has told you everything she knows about pumpkins, you can go out and pick out any pumpkins you might like to take home. The price includes one pumpkin. There are tables and benches at the end of the field where you can carve your pumpkin if you’d like. We’ll also be serving hot coffee and cake there, and there will be time for a casual chat.
