Come to a knitting workshop at the Brundlund Castle Art Museum and let your imagination run wild with a starting point in the surrealist visual world. The exhibition "Franciska Clausen and the Underworld" is the inspiration for the workshop's masks and patterns, and will be closely studied and introduced to the workshop. On the knitting needles, the compositions in yarn and colors are tested in the beautiful technique of tapestry, also called intarsia knitting. The technique gives the freedom to knit large motifs, knit simple motifs, knit with different yarn types and colors. We will also try intarsia with trailing threads and magic keys, which melange the yarns in the finest way. A technique where it is possible to use yarn scraps of different types and colors. Get inspiration for using the techniques for, among other things, good edges, details on a blouse or fine details. A knitting day designed for both beginners and experienced knitters.
