What to know

Is Monday's open textile workshop at the LIBRARY? Everyone is welcome, whether you are experienced or a beginner. In fact, it is perfectly fine to be a beginner. All you need is a desire to use your hands. And the concept is super simple. You don't have to register in advance, and it's free. Just show up between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM and join us around the big table up on the 3rd floor. We are all about immersing ourselves and gathering around the work of the hand. If you are already involved, you can of course bring your own handiwork, but if you are completely new, we have some small craft activities you can start with. You can get guidance and help for everything from clothing repair, using a sewing machine to tricky knitting patterns.
