The play Henrik P. is staged as a lecture about Henrik Pontoppidan. It is his great-grandson who gives the lecture, where the atmosphere is academic and sober, but However, the lecture gradually disintegrates and opens up to something far more existential, passionate and unpredictable. Small cracks begin to appear - a woman in the hall interrupts gently but insistently. She is no stranger. The two have had a relationship - he was in love with her, but she chose something else. Pontoppidan's voice comes alive in images, in language, in sound, in touch. In short - it is no longer a lecture, but a resurrection!
