The Friends of the Library reading group is open for registration and also for those who would like to come and explore the offerings without any obligations. During the fall season, the reading group will read the following books:September 1: Maggie O'Farrell: Hamnet (2020)Described as a fictional historical novel about Shakespeare's only son, Hamnet, who dies at the age of 11. A moving portrait of a boy and his mother; a great novel about love and loss, beautifully and sadly told in a light and timeless voice. October 6: Bernhard Schlink: The Grandchild (2024)'The Grandson' is about Kaspar and Birgit, who flee East Germany in the name of love and freedom, and the consequences it has for their lives and their descendants. - Date: 6 October 2026 - Time: 15:00–17:00 - Venue: Årslev Bibliotek - Address: Kirkevej 14, Årslev, Denmark
