Launch of the Koncertkapellet's New Piano Competition (After-Work Concert and CD Release) Come and hear about ROSKILDE-BAYREUTH PIANO COMPETITION 2027 and enjoy a concert by Xenia Kandel Frederiksen and Marie-Luise Bodendorff, featuring about an hour of four-hand piano music. Koncertkapellet has launched a brand-new Danish piano competition on our beautiful Steingraeber grand piano. The duo will also be hosting a CD release event. The event is a three-in-one affair: a competition launch, a release concert, and a CD release. Tonight marks the launch of the ROSKILDE-BAYREUTH PIANO COMPETITION, an exciting and innovative musical event at Roskilde’s new concert hall. Over the course of three days, young, recently graduated pianists will compete on the Koncertkapellet’s unique grand piano. With public access to the entire piano competition and the option to stream the event. A jury of Danish and international experts will select the winners of the first prize and a number of other awards.
