Helga Isager is one of the most influential Danish knitters and co-owner of the yarn company Isager, which since 1977 has delivered Scandinavian knitting design and quality yarn in natural fibers to knitters worldwide. With her brand Amimono, Helga Isager has renewed the craft of knitting and fashion by putting traditional techniques into a sophisticated and contemporary context with principles of simplicity and elegance. Helga Isager is also an experienced communicator as a guest teacher at Skals - College of Design and Handicraft and a lecturer around the world. Experience her when Helga comes by Fredensborg Library and talks about herself, her background and brings a selection of knitwear to share the considerations she makes when designing.
