Theme day and lecture with artist Julie Nymann Week 40 is International Dyslexia Week, and we are marking it with an exciting theme day at the library. This year you can experience artist Julie Nymann, who with humor and empathy will tell how she has turned her dyslexia (word dyslexia) into a resource in her artistic work. Because what does it really feel like to live with dyslexia - and what does it look like when you turn prejudices into strengths? Based on the work The Benefits of Being Dyslexic, which is exhibited at Augustiana Kunsthal, she shares personal experiences about growing up with dyslexia and finding the strengths in what is difficult. Come in green clothes and be part of a proud dyslexic movement. After the lecture, there is an opportunity to meet representatives from various associations and institutions, all of whom can contribute knowledge about dyslexia and provide advice and sparring on relevant issues.
