Workshop at the LIBRARY - Cyanotype - Large formats (and small)

What to know

If you want to get started or continue with cyanotype and have the opportunity to work in larger formats, here is a good opportunity to geek out about cyanotypes for a whole Sunday. On the course we have a UV illuminator that can illuminate up to 50 x 70 poster format. The UV illuminator has an exposure time of 30 minutes and can hold 2 cyanotypes at a time. That's why we fill the waiting time with cyanotypes in smaller formats, so we are constantly testing and experiencing what we can do with the magical light printing. The workshop starts with a presentation of the technique. We will go into the history behind it and look at a number of examples of the many different expressions you can achieve with cyanotype. Then there will be plenty of opportunity to try out the technique in your own experiments.
