On Sunday, October 4th at 10:30 AM, Odense Main Library will receive a distinguished visit when the internationally renowned author Zadie Smith visits the library in connection with her stay in the city as recipient of the HC Andersen Literature Prize. The audience can look forward to a rare opportunity to experience one of the most significant literary voices of our time in a present and reflective conversation about literature, society and writing. The event will be an exclusive event with a limited number of tickets, where the audience will get close to the author and her thoughts. The conversation will be facilitated by Sten Moslund and Emily Hock from the University of Southern Denmark, who will guide the dialogue with Zadie Smith through her writing and the themes that concern her today.
