About this event

What to know

Join Martin Bonde and learn more about the connection between body and mind. Learn how the body's signals, pain and tension can point to imbalances in life - and how increased body awareness can create more peace, balance and quality of life. A pain in the lower back is not always just a pain in the lower back. It can be a signal. An echo of something that is not working in the life around us. Just a few decades ago, we made a sharp distinction between the physical and the mental. Physical pain was treated as a purely mechanical problem, and mental stress was allowed to live its own, separate life. Today, we know better. More and more people are realizing that body and mind are inextricably linked - and that the body often says what we cannot put into words ourselves. This lecture is based on that realization. Based on their work, you are invited into a new understanding of the body's signals: How pain, tension and discomfort can be signs of imbalances in life - and how we can learn to read them. - Date: 29 September 2026 - Time: 19:00–21:00 - Venue: Dokk1/Aarhus Hovedbibliotek - Address: Hack Kampmanns Plads 2, Aarhus C, Denmark - Admission: From DKK 200
