Oysters and bonfires (4 km)

What to know

We meet at the Wadden Sea Center for a short introduction. The nature guide chooses the destination based on the day's water level and after the introduction we drive in our own cars to the starting point of the tour. We walk across the dry seabed until we reach the oysters Here you can see, taste and collect oysters. In addition to oysters, we also look for other edible things in the Wadden Sea National Park. Along the way, we'll spot birds and bottom-dwelling animals and enjoy the distinctive landscape - and maybe the nature guide can tell us a thing or two about what comes up. The hike is about 4 km, so it's suitable for ages 8 and up Back at the Wadden Sea Center, we will cook the collected oysters and other Wadden Sea delicacies over a campfire with fresh ingredients.
