Nordic twilight at Traktørstedet

What to know

Join us for an atmospheric evening of reading aloud, poetry and music as we celebrate the traditional twilight hour. The evening when the same piece of literature is read aloud in hundreds of libraries in the Nordic region at the same time. We meet on Otto Baches Allé at the entrance to Fælleden and walk together to Traktørstedet, where we sit at a long table by the light of candles. Before we eat, we listen to this year's reading aloud text, which is an excerpt from the Swedish novel "They Will Drown in Their Mothers' Tears" by Johannes Anyuru.
