Must from own apples

What to know

The Vordingborg branch has professional juice equipment, so members can have juice pressed from apples from their own garden. In its anniversary year of 2018, Haveselskabet Vordingborg - with help from the main company's activity pool - gave itself a gift that its members have enjoyed ever since. Mustering equipment was purchased, i.e. an electric grinder, a water pressure press and various buckets and tubs. It is incredibly efficient, about 40 kg of apples make at least 20 liters of must, often quite a bit more, depending on the apple varieties used. In any case, a lot of lovely must - just right for putting in the freezer. We are repeating the event this year, so you can have the opportunity to participate again or for the first time. It takes about 45 minutes to mash 40 kg of apples and prepare them for the next pressing. Of course, you must bring your own apples, max. 40 (forty!) kilos unless otherwise agreed in advance!! You can certainly use fall apples.
