The little grasshopper, Grethe loves to jump, and doesn't have time to sit still and listen to the grown-up grasshoppers. But one day she gets to make a giant leap, and gets lost in the wide world, which is both fun, scary and lonely. Fortunately, her good friends, the slow snails, will be happy to help - if they can follow along... A musical performance for the 4 - 8-year-olds, about grasshoppers, community & loneliness - and about finding a home for oneself. The audience sings along all the way through the story, and after the performance it is possible for the children to try out the performance's various instruments & sounds.
