What to know

Come and discover the world of small animals on the beach meadow at Naturcenter Amager Strand. Together we will investigate where the animals are hiding, which small animals we can find, and what they look like up close. On the trip, children and adults learn how to carefully find, collect and examine small animals without harming them. We look for insects, bench biters and other small animals that live on and around the salt meadow.Along the way we talk about the animals' habitats, shapes, colors and special characteristics.Families get the opportunity to examine the small animals in trays and magnifying glasses and can try drawing the animals they find.
