As a prelude to the Halsnæs Knitting Festival - where stitches and fjord meet, we have invited Jette Torp to an exciting lecture with live music, personal stories and readings - and of course there will be knitting and crocheting. 'Getting lost in a piece of needlework - sitting with the yarn in your hands and letting the needles, technique and creativity engulf you - is in many ways similar to getting lost in a beautiful song or a good book It sets a mood, it gives peace and focus, it frees the mind, it stops time - it makes sense!
