Trace the evolution of the moped through approximately 20 iconic models at this special exhibition at Den Gamle By The first mopeds appeared in 1949 and were, in all their simplicity, bicycles with a small engine mounted on the back; later, the engine was moved down to the crankshaft. The exhibition features, among others, the Puch VZ 50, Yamaha FS 1, Honda CD 50, as well as the Vespa Ciao, Puch Maxi, Suzuki FZ 50, and Kreidler Florett. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet one of the exhibition’s moped experts. In connection with the exhibition, there will be Lecture on September 16 with moped expert Peter Fredsted on the history of the moped, 1949–1996.
