Every Wednesday you can experience the Hjerl Hede Open Air Museum from a very special angle. Take an atmospheric horse-drawn carriage ride through the historic museum landscape, while the coachman tells you about Hjerl Hede's history, buildings and rural life over several centuries. Along the way you will hear about traditional building practices, timber-framed buildings, crafts, livestock, gardens, agriculture and everyday life. The tour gives both children and adults a good overview of the museum's large area and vivid stories about Danish cultural history.
