Would you like to start writing fantasy and magical realism? At this writing workshop you can get started with your story Experience Come and join us at our writing workshop on fantasy and magical realism. Along the way, screenwriter Trine Appel will talk about the difference between fantasy and magical realism and her work on the trilogy The Firebird. You will do writing exercises based on worldbuilding, concept and character gallery. In addition, Trine Appel will talk about credibility and personality in writing, as well as the art of finding out what your story is really about, what the personal theme is, even if you write in a specific genre. About the trainer Trine Appel is a trained actor from the Danish State Theatre School and a screenwriter from the Danish Film School. She has written 6 novels, 4 of which are magical realism with Danish history as the focal point.
