Maternity Café - Look, point and get excited about books - Visit from home carers

What to know

We invite parents with babies to a cozy morning with good books, conversations with home caregivers and coffee. Doors open at 9:30 where there is the opportunity for coffee and socializing. At 10:00, Children's Librarian Signe will bring a wide selection of exciting point-and-click books that we will read and explore together. The books are presented from the earliest age up to 2 years. When children are introduced to books and reading together with their adults, their language development, reading skills and, not least, their joy of reading are strengthened. At 10:30 we will be visited by Maja and Helle, both of whom are home carers in the municipality. They will come and tell us what it is like to be a home carer in Vejen Municipality, while also giving us plenty of opportunity to ask questions. The event is free but requires a ticket.
