From Under Byen to New Horizons: Experience Henriette Sennenvaldt live at Radar As the lead singer of the now-defunct band Under Byen, Henriette Sennenvaldt was part of a new wave in European rock music, and ever since the band’s 1999 debut album, she has captivated and teased curious music listeners with her fascinating voice. With wild and intense Danish lyrics and an experimental approach to instrumentation, the band consistently created compositions that explored the intersection of pop, jazz, contemporary composition, post-punk, and rock. Sennenvaldt released his solo debut, "Something Wonderful," on Paper Bag Records in November 2020. The album was well received both at home and abroad, appeared on several "albums of the year" lists, and earned Sennenvaldt a Steppeulv Award for Composer of the Year. Sennenvaldt’s solo work delves into new territory on the fringes of pop and is tender, camp, delicate, intricate, and unsettling like few others.
