Price: 150 kr Boller Cultural Circle invites you to an atmospheric and inspiring afternoon with the Danish/Polish pianist Maria Bundgård. Maria was born in Varde in 1991 and started playing the piano at the age of 10. At the age of 14, she won the Danish Steinway Piano Festival and subsequently represented Denmark at the international Steinway Festival in Hamburg. She is a trained classical pianist from the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and the Schola Cantorum in Paris, where she has lived since 2014. Maria has a special passion for both music and literature and has released several CDs and books. Her album Maria Bundgard plays Rachmaninoff from 2023 was met with great acclaim. Today she is also an active visual artist in Paris. Maria regularly gives concerts and interviews in Denmark, and her music can often be heard on DR P 2.
