These are the questions that Thomas Ploug, a professor at Aalborg University and researcher in AI ethics, addresses in this lecture. He opens the debate with a starting point from the touching futuristic novel Clara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro, which is about a special friendship between a girl and an artificial intelligence.
